Tye Simmonds has proven himself as one of Australia's fastest racers, and in his first MX season in the Pro Opens managed to land a 4th overall for 2010. However Tye, being the fierce competitor he is, remains far from happy and heads towards the next Super X season with a lot to prove.

Last years Super X series saw Tye fight injuries all the way through, so it is going to be a big weight lifted of his shoulders when the KTM factory rider lines up at the gate feeling his best, and free from injuries.

Unit athlete Ford Dale headed into the 8th and final round of the Rockstar MX Nationals in 5th place for the series, but consistent riding and 2 out of 3 race wins gave Ford the overall and lifted him to finish 3rd overall in the series.

Ford has proven he has the speed to win championships, but his inconsistency is his downfall. Ford hopes he can carry the speed and dominance he displayed in Coolum through to the up coming Super X series.
